ISLAMABAD: Proof of Indian involvement and funding of terrorist elements in Pakistan has been handed over to the United Nations, Foreign Office said on Thursday.
Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakariya said, “The dossier handed over to the United Nations contains proof of India financing the terrorist elements in Pakistan.”
The spokesman said that India has always violated the Line of Control (LoC) and the ceasefire accord – something Pakistan had never violated. “All political parties are united on the issue of Kashmir,” he said and urged the world community to take notice of human rights violations in the Indian-Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
The spokesman called upon the international community to send its fact-finding mission to occupied Kashmir. “Assessment by military observation group is very vital,” he maintained.
“Irresponsible statements from India are harmful for peace in the region. Pakistan had summoned Indian High Commission to Islamabad and raised – besides others – the issue of Delhi claims of surgical strikes,” the spokesman added.
Commenting on the Indus Waters Treaty, Zakariya stressed that the international community should also take notice of India’s new approach towards it.
